International Trade

IMC offers consulting services for a wide range of issues related to international trade and negotiations, including but not limited to:

Saul Mercado, NCBA.

Saul Mercado represented the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, NCBA, in the opening ceremony of the new cattle export pens in Nuevo Leon, Mexico on Feb 15, 2013.

Rodrigo Medina, Governor of the state accompanied by other important dignitaries, declared the facilities opened thanking the United States authorities, CNOG leadership, the Nuevo Leon Cattlemen’s Association and the Secretary of Agriculture (SAGARPA) for their support in this project.
State and federal government officials attended as well as several United States officers from the US Department of Agriculture, the Mayor of Laredo, Texas and the US Consul in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.

The common denominator of the speeches was the importance of working together in projects like this for the benefit of the cattle producers and the strengthening of the bi lateral trade.

Saul Mercado joined the group as a consultant
and administrative supervisor for the company in May 2017.

Grupo Constructor Velacor has contracts of jobs for the Texas Department of Transportation as sub contractor of several important constructions companies such as Anderson Columbia, Lone Star Paving and TMES.

IMC has recently been involved in consulting on establishing new companies in the United States diversifying its activities. Ernesto Villalobos, IMC associate, was instrumental in the foundation of a new construction company in San Antonio, Texas. He advised the owners from Mexico on all the procedures, and paperwork to establish “Grupo Constructor Velacor LLC” in 2016 and assisted the firm in recruiting the general manager and investors.
